One of my major pet peeves about websites are “click here” links. They not only make web content long-winded, but also cause issues with user experience, web accessibility, and search engine optimization. The “Click here” links were originally meant to be used with a mouse, but there are people who use keyboards and screen readers who would not benefit from it. They are also not friendly to search engines.

I am often being asked how I ended up in the web field and why I care about user experience and web accessibility. There were so many things that I was interested in before I started college, and it was difficult for me to decide what to major in. My main interests were arts and computers, so I was suggested to major in graphic design.
Comments closedAfter my experience with GoDaddy and many websites hosted on their servers, including mine, that went down one day, I decided not only to renew my website to power it with WordPress, but also switch it to A Small Orange server. I’ve had another website on their server for almost a year and been satisfied with their services. I hope my updated website will run on the new server as smoothly as another website.
